The Division of Translational Medicine and Human Genetics in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise is required in the specific area of genetics counseling. Applicants must have an M.D. or Ph.D degree. Candidates must be certified by the American Board of Genetic Counseling.

Teaching responsibilities may include teaching medical students, residents and fellows within the clinical setting and serving as research mentor.

Clinical responsibilities may include seeing patients in the outpatient setting and as an attending on an inpatient consult service.

Research or scholarship responsibilities may include engaging in funded research involving human genetics, genomic medicine, and/or translational science. Evidence of scholarship is required in the Clinician Educator track.
