The Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of Diabetes and diabetes care. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. Applicants should be board certified or board eligible in Endocrinology.
Teaching responsibilities may include conducting clinical and education activities. There will be an opportunity to teach in the endocrine fellowship and internal medicine residency programs at the Perelman School of Medicine. The academic clinician track requires 100 credits of active and high-quality teaching responsibilities.
Clinical responsibilities may include providing care for patients with Diabetes and other Endocrine disorders. The selected candidate will be an integral member of the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism with a practice focus on diabetes.
